Holiday Reviews for Maison Raisin on the Canal du Midi in Escales, France
Beautiful, old and typical French house

Rating has been recorded: 15 August 2010 Travel period: July 2010 It is now again a long time passed since we had left your house in Escales. I had promised you a feedback. We felt very well, although it was only a short time. Such houses like yours we like best, really nice old and French, you can relax. The area is also very beautiful. We came from the sea so except where we bathe and bask not have taken too much. The time in Escales we then used for excursions. Especially helpful was your pinboard with the Cards. The hammock chair is great - we're not crashed! Incidentally, the neighbors are really übernett. The agreement worked well - at first it was a bit difficult because we pretty much Daniel wanted to leave pretty quickly. A little slower it went better. Best wishes to him and his family. Maybe yes, we return again back to Escales.
A wonderful holiday in Languedoc

Rating has been recorded: 22 July 2010 July 2010 period, the rice with the Wireless Lan in the house is really convenient. As we have already 1000 plans for our return and dates, I'm using now, on the last evening, the opportunity to send a small "final report". We enjoyed it very beautifully in your home and in the Languedoc at all! The trip recommendations were great. A note: the swimming pool in Maury is unfortunately completely dried out (probably only at the time!). We also find that the lake would be worth with a beach in Homps on the site a mention. We enjoyed the fine. And the walk to Escales around, which is recommended by the church sign (always the yellow line after), on which one of the Tour "sees. She was also very great. Otherwise, we have become as brown as ever before - it was wonderful weather. The clouds make the parting a little easier today, sigh ... We still have nothing in the house broke, so I dare even before, to write you the Kontonunmmer for the deposit. As you wait of course from the report by Beatrice and Daniel :-) They were very nice to us! On the very evening of our arrival was a big fireworks display (the next day national holiday, July 14) and we were immediately invited. Even during the time we had some nice conversations. As an art teacher, I must of course be my reputation and have painted with watercolor paints a small picture of the house, which I attach. I have sat outside the door, and thus brought some villagers to wonder ... has rumgesprochen already determined. The picture has not become so completely naturalistic exactly, but you can see .... Greetings from Escales and thanks for letting us rent your beautiful house!

Rating has been recorded: 26 May 2010 Travel Period: April 2010 France enthusiasts (and those who want to be there) here are the right place! The authentic and well prepared old village house is an ideal starting point for many excursions in the region. Contact with the landlord was nice and easy, delivery and acceptance quickly and smoothly. The house is well maintained and with great attention to detail, a great plus is to bring free wireless Internet access (laptop), Europe-wide flat rate fixed telephone and German television. The kitchen equipment is simple and practical and not necessarily suitable for cooking an elaborate menus. But a good baker is just around the corner and the corner shop in the village shop holds everything ready for a good meal. We are happy once again!
Beautiful surroundings, friendly neighbors

Rating has been recorded: 18 May 2010 Travel period: September 2009 We have spent our vacation in the summer of 2009 at the Maison Raisin and it was a wonderful time. The house is decorated tastefully and because the owner uses the house as a residence outside of the season, it is significantly larger than normal equipped apartments. For professional reasons, it was also very convenient that, in addition to the phone line and a fast Internet connection, even a fax machine is available. This can all be used free of charge due to a flat rate. We have made friends with the neighbors with whom we are still in contact. Escales remembers his old typical houses almost to a museum, nestled in the vineyards of the Corbieres and Minervois. The largest medieval fortress of Carcassonne is only 20 minutes drive and a visit is highly recommended. I can recommend the holiday very much! Rating has been recorded: 20 January 2010 Travel period: March 2009 We had last year in March in Maisonraisin and have felt very comfortable. The house has everything you could wish for is to set up super nice. We did not go away. Escale is a small romantic village, just as one imagines it is in France, it's not go too far to the sea or on the Canal du Midi or Carcassonne. We are always happy to come back Recommended for: traveler 55, Holidays with Pets, culture lovers, Romantic Holidays
